6. SPECIAL PERMITS

a. Certification of cancellation, issued by the National Commision of Telecommunications (CONATEL, for its acronym in Spanish). b. Proof of not having outstanding debts with DIGEPESCA. (Fishing vessels) c. Proof of solvency with the satellite monitoring company (Fishing vessels) d. Proof of not having any outstanding debt with the Directorate General of Merchant Marine. e. Certify the cancellation of the previous registration, duly legalized. *In the case of having obtained only a provisional patent, the cancellation of the previous registration must also be presented For general queries, send an Email to: registro@marinamercante.gob.hn 6.14 DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE (DIGEPESCA) The fishing licensing procedure runs from February 1 to May 2 each year due to environmental protection. PROCEDURE FOR FISHERMEN IDENTIFICATION The Executive Branch, through the Ministry of Natural Resources, will grant a concession or permit for the export, scientific, and sport fishing, in accordance with this Law and its regulations, as well as with the current Concession Law, for a period not exceeding five (5) years, extendable. a. Article No.26. Only Hondurans by birth may be captains of fishing vessels of any kind. b. Article No.30. Fishermen must dock their vessels and unload fishery products in Honduran ports. They may kill, freeze and ship fish, crustacean and mollusk, and dispatch them to market at all docks, whether privately owned, of the State, Department or Municipality, subject to the relevant permit. They must at any time, take care to not cause damage and to sanitize in the shortest possible time, the part of the dock used for the work they carry out. c. Article No.37. Each captain of a fishing vessel will report to the corresponding office, the departure to fish and the return, indicating fishing sites, species and quantities fished. They must rent processing and distribution plants for the fisheries. d. Article No.38. The fishery products of any vessel will be landed in the corresponding national port, whether for domestic consumption, distribution, processing, packaging or export.

6.13.4 SHIPPING AGENCY REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: a. Application for Registration. b. Company or Merchant´s Articles of Incorporation, duly registered c. Customs Agent License / Shipping Agent License. d. Operation Permit, issued by the concerned Municipality e. Power of attorney, duly authenticated f. Name of vessels owned and third party civil liability insurance policy. g. Details of the services provided by the company. h. A copy of a receipt from the National Electricity Company (ENEE, for its acronym in Spanish). i. Present resolution issued by the Deputy Directorate of Customs Revenue authorizing the company as a shipping Agent. j. Register company´s cell phone, landline telephone, exact address and e-mail. k. Register cell phone and landline of the company’s legal representative. 6.13.5 SHIPYARD REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: a. Written request by means of legal proxy. b. Power of attorney, duly authenticated c. Company or Merchant´s Articles of Incorporation d. Operation Permit, issued by the Municipality e. Environmental Authorization. f. Details of the services provided by the company. g. Profile of the technical staff, demonstrating skills and competence in the related field. h. Details of the machinery and equipment owned by the company for the provision of services. The General Directorate of the Merchant Marine reserves the right to request any other type of information or documentation when it deems it relevant. i. A copy of a receipt from the National Electricity Company (ENEE). j. Register company´s cell phone, landline telephone, exact address and e-mail. k. Register cell phone and landline of the company’s legal representative. REQUEST FOR CANCELLATION OF A REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: The Legal proxy must file the request for cancellation of the registration of a ship, which obtained a definitive patent, through the Section of Receipt of Documents and Customer Service.
